BSSL Cup Bye

It's a bye week for our boys this week as the first round of the BSSL Cup kicks off. When asked how the team will take advantage of the break, Coach Teo responded "We'll use this time to take care of some knocks we picked up yesterday and hopefully get a few practices in. You can tell we are still feeling each other out on the pitch, so we're going to definitely get some touches in before the next match to get out chemistry where we believe it can be." This comes as Inter were handed their first loss of the season, conceding 5 goals. Unsurprisingly, fans are concerned.

Increased roster size has led to frustration as some players who had logged heavy minutes last season are having to deal with a reduced role. It seems the frustration has bled onto the field of play. We caught up with Jivan Purutyan this afternoon to hear from a players' perspective. When asked if he thought we got a fair result yesterday he responded, "I'm still not over it, maybe tonight I'll calm down enough [to think clearly]".
